Service Description
Educational Consultations Julie's educational consultations focus on providing support for families navigating psychoeducational or other medical or community assessments and educational diagnoses. During each session she empowers parents with the knowledge of what questions to ask — or can attend meetings in person as you and your child’s advocate to get the services that can support your child best. Julie can provide advocacy and guidance for school meetings, including: IEP (Individual Education Plan) IPRC (Identification, Placement, and Review Committee) System Team Reviews Julie and her team can conduct comprehensive, one-on-one evaluations to determine current literacy and academic levels using standardized tools: Woodcock-Johnson IV – Assesses broad academic skills Gallistel-Ellis Test – Evaluates decoding, word recognition, and spelling Phonological Awareness Skills Test (PAST) – Measures phonemic awareness skills When parents conduct academic assessments for their child they benefit from: Personalized, student-focused approach Experienced special education professional Supportive collaboration with families and schools Clear, actionable results and guidance
Cancellation Policy
Welcome to OakHaven Academy's booking policy page. This policy outlines how to book, cancel, or request changes to appointments, evaluations, enrolment meetings, etc. --- ### Booking Guidelines - Bookings must be made **at least 24 hours in advance**. - Use our [booking portal/email/phone] to schedule during school hours. - You will receive a confirmation within 24-48 hours of your request. --- ### Cancellation Policy - We kindly request that cancellations must be submitted **no later than 24 hours before** the scheduled time. - We appreciate avoiding late cancellations (within 24 hours) as much as possible. --- ### Change of Booking - Requests to reschedule or modify a booking must be made **at least 24 hours in advance**. - Changes are subject to availability and must be confirmed by school administration. - If a change cannot be accommodated, the original booking remains unless cancelled. --- ### Exceptions - Emergencies or unforeseen circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis - Please email: enrollment@oakhavenacademy.ca ---
